When Victor looked over, his eyes dimmed.
The corner was the place where Rachel frequently strolled around. He was aware of it because he missed her so much that he checked the surveillance footage for any traces of her in Sue Garden after her death.
Victors heart ached upon looking at it. Slowly, he walked over.

The second he approached, he heard a meow and someone shushing.
As soon as he turned on the flashlight, the corner was lit up.

Ten minutes later, in the living room of Sue Garden

Katie sat on Joeys lap, staring at his arm with her round eyes. She called out as if she felt guilt, and then affectionately licked his palm.
Lukas entered the living room, carrying a medical kit.
Here it is,
Mr. Sullivan, he said as he put down the medical kit.
Victor took off his suit and rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt. He knelt on one knee in front of Joey and held his slender wrist.
Joey had three scratches on his arm and blood oozed from them
Okay, Victor said in a deep voice as he opened the medical kit. He took out the alcohol and turned the cap of the bottle to open it.
He was about to pour alcohol on the scratches when Joey pulled back his arm.
Victor put back the bottle cap of the alcohol and placed it on the table.
Does it hurt? he asked, looking at the boy, whose eyes now showed nervousness.
